1. i choose these photos because they really spoke to me and i thought it would be fun and challenging to try some of these pictures.
2. for the dancing one it was having them all jump at the same time and figuring out the lighting. with the one that is Bella and Kenzie it was hard getting their faces to line up and create the lighting. 3. i directed Kenzie on how to move her head and i think it turned out pretty good and then for both lighting situations i used light room to fix it. 4. i most definitely think it was the face over face because it was very hard to line up the faces and the lighting is still not there but it think for what has come out of it is pretty good. 5. to me three of the photos feel like they where taken in the moment which makes them more special because its super natural and unique, and then for the ones that where definitely placed to be that way are very good because the photographer obviously had a vision and where able to carry it out. 6. the skills i can take for this assignment is that i have very good model friends and that i am able to get out of my comfort zone and try something new and unique, and that my light room skills are not to bad so i am able to create a better magic for the picture.

PlanThe PhotosThe Reflection1. My experience wasn't to bad when working with a model it was actually pretty good. Some difficulties I faced with my models was just that sometimes they would move to fast and I couldn't fix my shutter speed. The models made it a lot easier because they had fun with it and did what they're told.
2. i used all the information that i have learned over the past few weeks about models and showing the mood. 3. i think you are able to tell the moods i was trying to portray throughout these photos. 4. some of the pictures where taken differently because i wanted to portray the same mood but with a different pose. 5. almost all my models where great with doing what i asked the to do the only one who was difficult and changed up the whole photo was Aubrey because she doesn't like being told what to do. 6. i choose these photos because i thought some would be a challenge and the rest would be really fun to make. 1. What makes a bad photo: blurry, lots going on taking away from the focus point, over or under lighting exposure, bad angle, distance. 2. It has a leading line to the mountain, its not busy everything ties together, the fog adds depth and mystery into the picture, the lighting is perfect all the colors look good together and you can see hints of the sunset which is nice. 3. The first thing is that it is over exposed could have better lighting, she is way to far away from the camera, the trees look like they are swallowing her so its takes the focus off her, and everything just kinda blends together there is no focus point. It was bad because it was so far away and you could see both eyes and took away from the main focus. To fix it i went for a closer approach and faced her in the sun so you can see her natural eye color. It was way underexposed you can barely see Ben in the photo. I took Ben and put him in the same spot while fixing the lighting and catching Ben in the air. Sasha looks really good like she pulled off that rock star pose but it is underexposed. To fix it i fixed the brightness the lighting was a little bad and Maya was posed in a really bad way in a way where it didn't flatter her.
to fix it i posed her in a way that really shows off her modeling skills and fixed the lighting.
1. the frustrating thing was that i couldn't see what i needed to fix right away i just had to randomly guess how to fix it and that i couldn't see them cause i like seeing them right after they are taken.
2. i think my photos turned out pretty good some turned out way better than i thought and others are just a little over or under exposed. 3. i had the white balance on auto because you said we could and then i just played with the little green line thing when you look into the camera. 4. when you are trying to get an action shot, or when you are in the moment thinking that your pics are turning out really good and your just living your life, and lastly when you don't have digital camera. 5. it is important to work in manual mode when we cant see like we did yesterday because we need to able to know the settings and how to work with them with out being able to see them. 6. i really enjoy this picture because i like how the sun is coming through the trees and making me feel all warm and when you look to the left side middle corner part the tree looks like it is kinda sparkling, and i like how blue the sky is. |
